Founding Story
When we arrived in Canada, we were full of big dreams and potential, ready to make a difference. However, we soon found that the path ahead was filled with unexpected challenges. We learned that in Canada, opportunities often come through connections, knowing the right people made all the difference. While many wonderful organizations helped Tamil communities, one thing was missing: a collective of Tamil technologists community where Tamils could come together, network, and build things that can change the world for the better.
One evening, while sharing coffee and talking about our personal challenges, one of us said, "Instead of waiting for help, why not create a community that brings together our skills and opens doors for every Tamil individual facing these obstacles?" That simple question sparked a powerful idea, a vision of turning our struggles into a shared strength.
Fueled by determination and a shared passion for change, we set out to build TechTamil.org. Today, our platform stands as a vibrant beacon of support, turning individual challenges into endless opportunities for connection, innovation, and growth.
